Who am i?
Sam Eastman is a Boston-based musician specializing in guitar, lap steel, and similar stringed instruments. In addition to his own artistry, he is a regular contributor to the works of Californian country-rocker Edward Glen. His resume also includes appearances with such acts as Jane Don’t, Hush Club, Julie Rhodes, and Dan Fontaine & Memphis Sun Mafia. He was a pupil of Canadian jazz legend Mike Gauthier while attending the Schulich School of Music in Montreal. He draws upon many different influences that allow him to adapt to whatever style is thrown his way, ranging from Bill Frisell, to Carlos Santana, to Michael Hedges, to Chet Atkins. He’s even writing this webpage in the third person to assure you that he means business.
